LERU - Stream Programme Internship  Outgoing students

STREAM (STudent ReseArch Mobility) is a pilot project of LERU, the League of European Research Universities. The project is aimed to students who have a high interest in conducting research during their study period. It allows them to to spend an internship - that can last from 1 to 6 months - in one of the LERU universities partner by participating in a research projects.

STREAM is open to students who are enrolled in their 3rd year of a First cycle or Single cycle degree programme, or in their 4th or 5th year of a Second Cycle degree programme, at one of the following partner universities:


In order to apply candidates must:

  • be enrolled at University of Milan as full time students, at the moment of application
  • have at least a B2 level of knowledge of the English language

Please note that some projects might have additional requirements.


Students interested in Stream Programme can email their candidature to the International Relations Office (, that will handle both selection and acceptance procedures and the drafting of the internship agreement.


Candidates must check carefully dates and deadlines in the call, and apply at least two months before the internship start date, in order to have time enough for the conclusion of the necessary procedures on due time.
