The course aims at providing the basics of cognitive, affective, perceptive, motor and socio-cultural development; methods to apply the principles of human development and occupational therapy.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will be able to: · describe the development of daily activities in the first years of life; · explain the importance of "playing" at all stages of life; · observe, analyze and report occupations of children in nurseries and maternity schools; · explain theoretical reference models in occupational therapy; · assess the movement, the joint movement and the strength of the head, neck, trunk and limbs; · learn craft techniques (clay or painting); designing, planning, creating products individually or in groups; analyze the activity.
