The aims of the course are to broaden and deepen the scientific and applicative knowledge on the breeding of livestock (dairy and meat), with particular regard to the use and interpretation of data collected at farm for the monitoring and management of the systems in order to increase sustainability, animal welfare and the efficiency of livestock systems.
Expected learning outcomes
Tools and methods for the technical evaluation of livestock farms, and for the management activity within the livestock sector. In particular, the student will acquire the ability to use and interpret data from sensors for correct monitoring and management of modern, efficient and sustainable farms.
