The aim of the course is to provide students with knowledge of the main instruments to prevent organized crime, both in criminal and administrative law. The program is comprised of two components. In addition to article 416-bis criminal code and participation in that offence, the Criminal Law module examines preventive measures, in particular the anti-Mafia code ones. The Administrative Law module - besides the principles of legality, transparency and impartiality - covers the topics of anti-corruption, the so called "documentazione antimafia" and the dissolution of municipal councils due to organized crime infiltration.
At the end of the course, the student will have an in-depth knowledge of the subjects of the course, having learnt a methodology of legal reasoning suitable to deal with issues regarding the organised crime counter-action, preventive measures and administrative transparency.
