Practical analysis of the main critical points of beef cattle rearing system
How to find the main critical points e how to approach them to plan specific management strategies
Nutritional and management strategies for critical phases
Proper animal handling
Use of practical tools to evaluate animal response to the different nutritional and management approaches: welfare assessment check list and feces sieving
Practical training:
Farmer expectation, needs and how to interact with him
Diet formulation and risk factor indicators (BCS, Fecal Score, Rumen fill, health status)
Farm visits:
How to collect the proper information (animal observation, which info ask to the breeder)
Practical animal handling
Diet evaluation, critical points individuation and management
How to make an effective report for the farmer
