Learning objectives
During the course, the main notions of Chinese grammar and syntax will be completed. Notions necessary to deal with selected texts, coming from Chinese media regarding economics, political and social sciences. The approach to this specialized translation is aimed at enriching the lexicon while learning and analyzing complex syntactic structures, and properly using the dictionaries.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of 120 hours of classroom instruction, the students will be able to read and translate the textbook and proposed articles, hold complex conversations, and translate increasingly elaborate phrases from Italian to Chinese. The acquired competences will be sufficient for participation in the Chinese proficiency test HSK3 (B1).
