European Community and European Union: from the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community to the Treaty of Lisbon. Institutions, bodies and organisms: in particular, the European Parliament, European Council, Council, European Commission and European Central Bank. Struc-ture and powers of the Court of Justice of the European Union and the judicial system (with specific attention to the preliminary ruling procedure and the dialogue between the Court of Justice and the national courts). The acts of the European Union: sources of law, distinctive features and legal effects (the implementation in the Italian legal order).
2.2 Special part
European Union Citizenship and the Free Movement of Persons, Capitals, Goods and Services. The Freedom of Establishment. EU Competition Law. State aids.
The final exam will be oral. No written test is foreseen.
