Scopo del Corso è fornire le nozioni di base della Fisica per la comprensione e l'interpretazione dei fenomeni osservabili a livello macroscopico e microscopico. Il percorso didattico segue la linea classica: Meccanica, Termodinamica, Elettromagnetismo e Ottica.

4. Work, kinetic energy and potential energy. Energy conservation.
5. Angular momentum and torques.
6. Linear momentum. Scattering of point masses.
7. Kinematic and dynamics of rigid bodies.

Thermodynamics
1. Transformations of thermodynamic systems: the first principle of thermodynamics.
2. Applications of the first principle to perfect gases.
3. Entropy and the second principle of thermodynamics.
4. Kinetic theory of gases (outline).
Elettromagnetism

1. Electrostatic: Coulomb's law and principle of superposition.
2. Electric field. Electric potential.
3. Gauss law and its applications.
