Geomorphology and Laboratory
STRUCTURE AND TECTONICS: lithostructural and tectonic morphologies; biostasy and rhexistasy; minor structures; tabular structures; monoclinal structures; fold and fault-related structures; hydrographic network; flat erosion surfaces.
WEATHERING: basic definition; processes of physical, chemical and biological weathering.
PEDOLOGY AND PALAEOPEDOLOGY: soil, basic concepts; pedogenesis; soil classification; time In soil formation: paleosols.
GRAVITY AND SLOPE DYNAMICS: slope dynamics; shallow vs. deep movements; landslides; sackungen; slope deposits.
GRANITES AND CRISTALLINE ROCKS GEOMORPHOLOGY: most typical morphologies; cristalline rock landscapes.
GEOMORPHOLOGY OF CARBONATE AND EVAPORITIC ROCKS. KARST: processes and kinetics of chemical dissolution of karstic rocks; speleogenesis; shallow and deep karst; karstic hydrogeology.
COASTAL GEOMORPHOLOGY: waves; currents; tides; cliff, falaise and plateau, beach.
