Learning objectives
Il Corso è finalizzato a sviluppare la formazione del laureando in ambito di pianificazione e gestione dei sistemi zootecnici estensivi e faunistici, in un'ottica di un utilizzo sostenibile delle risorse ambientali, considerando le attuali politiche Comunitarie. Con un approccio interdisciplinare, le quattro unità didattiche focalizzano l'attenzione su specifiche problematiche, in particolare la genetica della conservazione, la gestione della fauna selvatica e delle sue interazioni con quella domestica, l'igiene degli allevamenti faunistici, l'ecoparassitologia e più in generale la gestione sanitaria della popolazioni selvatiche.

Course syllabus
The main problems related with wildlife are discussed, with regard to both farm and free-living animals. The hygienic aspects of pheasant and hare farm management are detailed, and the most diffused infectious diseases of the large ungulates are examined, focusing on the epidemiological aspects of the diseases.
