a) General part:
- socio-economic impacts of animal parasitic diseases (2h)
- host-parasite relationships: selective pressures and mutual adaptations (2h)
- evaluation of host-parasite-environment relationships in different husbandry systems (4h)
- parasite infection routes, quantification of infections and predictive models (4h)
- pathogenicity of parasites, and resistance, tolerance and defense mechanisms of hosts (2h)
- parasitic infections, quality of animal productions and environmental health (2h)

b) Specific part:
- life cycle, pathogenicity, screening and control measures of protozoa (6h), helminths (6h) and ectoparasites (4h) of zootechnical and zoonotic relevance

Practical part:
- parasitological diagnostics laboratory (12h)
- visits to farms (20h)
