Course syllabus
Physics Laboratory
The course consists in lectures and laboratory activity. The lectures deal with statistical methods and data analysis (introduction) and complements of physics on the following subjects : direct current and basic circuits, RC circuits; mechanical and electromagnetic waves; geometrical optics and basics of physical optics; basics of radioactivity. The activity of the student in laboratory regards the measurement of the Faraday constant with two different methods in order to evaluate their precision, accuracy and compatibility. It is relevant that simple measurements of concentrations by mean of weight and volume determinations or by mean of a spectrofotometer give the opportunity to the student to be familiarized with experimental errors treatment and data analysis.
