MODULE OBJECTIVES: To describe the biosecurity challenge to prevent the diseases on poultry, rabbit and game bird production. Geographic relationship of reared animals, building location, and specific cleanup procedures are discussed. Our ability to predict and/or protect farmed animals is dependent on the true efficacy of biosecurity measures.
