Learning objectives
Il corso intende fornire agli studenti strumenti giuridici di pianificazione e gestione dei rapporti commerciali transnazionali delle imprese. Esso vuole allo stesso tempo sviluppare la sensibilità e la capacità degli studenti di intravedere profili di interazione, sovrapposizione ed eventualmente conflitto tra sistemi normativi differenti, tanto in una prospettiva ex ante di pianificazione di attività future, quanto in quella di analisi ex post di fenomeni e situazioni già in atto, mettendoli in grado di saperne discutere svolgendo gli argomenti in modo logico, semplice e lineare. Si intende altresì fornire loro strumenti mediante i quali divengano capaci di predisporre meccanismi concreti atti a prevenire o a risolvere situazioni problematiche.

Private International Law: objectives and methods. General issues: characterization, connecting factors, renvoi, public policy, overriding mandatory rules. EU Regulation on the law appalicable to contractual obligations. Conflicts of jurisdiction: EU Brussels I-bis Regulation. Recognition and enforement of foreign judgments: general principles.
