Learning objectives
This course aims to improve knowledge and understanding of those aspects of Russian morphosyntax that are more difficult for Italian learners. Verbal morphology and semantics will be investigated in order to enhance understanding of verbs in context. Aspects of nominal morphology, not yet considered, will be discussed to improve individual capacities for language comprehension and production.
About the course: in order to consolidate the acquisition of morphological and lexical structures in communicative contexts, the course will be supported by sessions with native speakers.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of this course students will be able to understand oral and written texts related to everyday situations, to retrieve information from simple texts (such as advertisements, menus, personal letters), to produce texts of the same level with basic grammatical correctness (give information, indicate directions, use verbs with appropriate verbal government in different semantic fields). Overall, in understanding and use of written and spoken language in everyday contexts, the course aims to bring students up to Russian as a Foreign Language level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
