Il corso si propone di fornire allo studente le nozioni teoriche e pratiche delle discipline zootecniche attraverso l'inquadramento dei diversi sistemi produttivi zootecnici e la trattazione della valutazione morfo-funzionale degli animali, delle basi tecniche della gestione dell'allevamento dei suini e dei ruminanti e dei fondamenti di etologia applicata e benessere degli animali da reddito.
