Learning objectives
Questo percorso ha lo scopo di fornire agli studenti un quadro della maggior parte delle evenienze non chirurgiche riscontrabili nella pratica clinica. L'obiettivo è fornire gli elementi utili alla scelta consapevole dell'iter diagnostico, alla formulazione di una corretta diagnosi differenziale ed alla scelta del trattamento più opportuno. Verrà approfondito l'aspetto clinico delle patologie di carattere internistico con particolare riferimento a patologie cardiologiche, nefrologiche, urinarie, endocrine, gastroenteriche. Verrà trattato l'aspetto diagnostico e terapeutico delle principali patologie dell'apparato riproduttore e verranno affrontate le problematiche di più frequente riscontro nell'ambito della medicina comportamentale.

Analysis and evaluation of the behavior of pets. The most frequent behavioral abnormalities in pets. Interventions for behavior modification.
Modulo: Tecniche diagnostiche radiotomografiche
Course syllabus
Aim of the course: to provide the basic skills for the correct interpretation of radio-tomographic images in the internal medicine of dogs and cats, especially regard to the study of thoracic and abdominal diseases. CT and MRI of the central and peripheral nervous system complete the course. The student is involved in patient management, study planning and interpretation of images under the direct supervision of the teacher. All the activities will occur in the Lodi Veterinary Teaching Hospital.

The course includes 16 hours of practical activities, based on the description of clinical cases related to the Veterinary Radiology Unit of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. For completing the student's training, the material can be supplemented with images of particular interest from the Radiology archive.
