Learning objectives
Aims of the course is to introduce students in animal husbandry of cattle and other reared species. The course provides knowledge on different rearing systems , animal behaviour and on farm welfare assessment in order to improve livestock management.
Expected learning outcomes
Students will acquire knowledge and understanding of the main livestock production systems as well as the ability to apply this knowledge for livestock management. Students can analize rearing systems and their relationships with the welfare of reared animals

Prerequisites for admission
No specific information are required. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is suggested as improving the understanding.
Assessment methods and Criteria
The exam is oral test about the topics included in the teaching programs of all modules.
The final mark (expressed in thirtieths) corresponds to the mathematical average of the two section marks.
