Learning objectives
The course aims to provide general knowledge of the populations of pre-Roman Italy, with particular regard of some of them, which will be the subject of more detailed analysis.
Expected learning outcomes
Knowledge and understanding: the student must acquire knowledge of the main characteristics of the populations of pre-Roman Italy.
Applying knowledge and understanding: showing the ability to recognize the manifestations of material culture of the populations subject to in-depth analysis.

Second semester
If the health emergency continues, the lessons will take place electronically. Students will find all the informations to access the lessons, any changes to the program and to the reference materials (bibliography etc) on the Ariel teaching website at the beginning of the second semester. If it is not possibile to take the exam in the manner prescribed by the Syllabus, the exam test can be carried out electronically with the modalities that will be comunicated on the Ariel website of the teaching al the end of the cours.

1- Aspects of the rite in the pre-Roman Italy
2- The sacred: tangencies between nature and meaning
3- The image between artistic will and meaning, classify and interpret
Prerequisites for admission
Basic knowledge of Etruscology and Greek Archaeology is recommended.
Teaching methods
Frontal lessons.
Teaching Resources
Teaching materials or the instructions to receive them will be loaded into the Ariel web site. The 9 and 6 credit study program will be specified on the Ariel electronical platform.
Assessment methods and Criteria
Assessment of acquired skills through oral examination. The topics presented in class will be requested.
