The academic year starts on 1 October and ends 30 September.
Calendar of activities
Teaching activities are divided into two semesters:
first semester a.y. 2018/19: 27 September 2018 - 22 January 2019 (except first year bachelor's students and first year master's students in Food Science and Human Nutrition, for which lessons will start on 4 October 2018, and third year students in Viticulture and Oenology, which will start on 5 November 2018). Break for exams and midterms: 12 - 16 November 2018 (does not apply to the third year in Viticulture and Oenology)
second semester a.y. 2018/19: 21 February 2019 - 11 June 2019. Break for exams and midterms: 29 April - 3 May 2019
Exam sessions take place at the end of the semester courses.
Students can complete traineeships or their thesis in companies, businesses or associations with which the University has entered into agreement, at a selected association/organization/company or within the University.
Students who wish to complete their traineeship/thesis:
in external companies and organizations should contact the University Study and Career Guidance Service (COSP)
within the University may contact their Tutor or the President of the relevant Degree Programme Coordination Committee.
