Double Degree

The degree programme in Language and Culture for International Communication and Cooperation enables students to perfect and hone their linguistic and cultural competences through a wide selection of linguistic and cultural options.

These competences are underpinned by the legal, economic, sociological and psycho- anthropological knowledge required to assume expert professional roles in the field of intercultural communication and international cooperation.

Graduates in Language and Culture for International Communication and Cooperation are qualified to pursue careers, also through positions with high levels of responsibility, in the transnational field, and in public and private international organisations and bodies.

They are also equipped to take on managerial positions in international organisations, in the sphere of cooperation and assisted development.

They possess the advanced professional skills required to collaborate with bodies and institutions directly engaged in the phenomena of cultural, linguistic, economic and social integration, taking into account both the need to protect immigrant languages, and the problems associated with integration, particularly in relation to EU linguistic legislation.

In addition, graduates boast an excellent command of the tools required for the management and communication of information in a multidisciplinary context, specifically rooted in the issues of this nature that arise in contemporary societies, above all at the international level.

Application and admission: Open, subject to entry requirements (See Program description).

Double degrees

Students with in-depth knowledge of foreign languages who wish to complete part of their university studies abroad may complete periods of study in various foreign universities, thereby obtaining an academic qualification from both their home university and the foreign one (Double Degree).

In particular, the degree course in Languages and Cultures for Communication and International Cooperation has activated an agreement with the Russian State University for the Humanities of Moscow, which allows the acquisition of both the Italian and the Russian degree.

Highly recommended, not mandatory.
