We intend to provide the basis for a theoretical approach to the recent evolution of feminist philosophy, focusing on the critical discussions about the concept of "subject". The question of identity, a key issue in the western philosophical tradition, has lived and lives a critical season of great fertility: from the second half of the 20th century, the unitary subject seems to collapse or to shatter, from a philosophical, anthropological, political and social point of view. How has feminist philosophy taken up this question?
