Reimbursable fees and dues

Students can only request reimbursement of fees and dues paid relating to the 2018-2019 academic year. Fees and dues relating to previous academic years are not reimbursable.

The only situation where the first instalment may be reimbursed is when a student, despite having re-enrolled for the current academic year, graduates within the third session of the previous academic year. To request reimbursement of the first instalment, the student must apply for reimbursement within 30 days of graduating.

Students in receipt of a DSU study grant in the current academic year are not eligible for reimbursement of the first instalment.

However, students in receipt of a partial regional study grant will only have to pay 50% of the second instalment (all-inclusive fee).

Tasse e contributi rimborsabili

È possibile richiedere solo il rimborso di tasse e contributi pagati e riferiti all’anno accademico 2018-2019. Sono esclusi rimborsi relativi ad anni accademici precedenti.

L’unico caso di rimborso della prima rata è quello in cui, nonostante abbia rinnovato l’immatricolazione per l’anno accademico in corso, lo studente si sia laureato entro la terza sessione dell’anno accademico precedente. Per ottenere il rimborso della prima rata è necessario presentare la domanda di rimborso entro 30 giorni dalla laurea.

È escluso il rimborso della prima rata se lo studente usufruisce, nell’anno accademico in corso, di un beneficio per il diritto allo studio

Se lo studente, invece, ha ottenuto una borsa di studio regionale parziale, paga solo il 50% della seconda rata (contributo onnicomprensivo).

Non-reimbursable fees and dues

The following fees and dues cannot be reimbursed:

  • those relating to academic years prior to 2017/2018

  • the fee for admission to bachelor’s degree programmes with limited enrolment or self-evaluation test, master’s degree programmes with open admissions and postgraduate degree programmes

  • the fee for enrolling on single degree courses

  • the transfer fee (for transfers within the University of Milan, to a different University or from other Universities)

  • the fee for enrolling on a second degree programme and for the recognition of qualifications awarded abroad

  • the amount of the first instalment if the student withdraws from his/her studies and transfers to a different University.

Method of reimbursement

 To obtain reimbursements, the student, or an authorised person with a signed proxy and a photocopy of the student’s identity document, must hand in a form, available from Student Registry, at the relevant degree programme help desk.

An administration fee of € 10.00 is applicable for all types of reimbursements.
