Il corso ha contenuto teorico e pratico e consiste nello studio dei meccanismi biologici che regolano lo sviluppo embriologico negli animali domestici. A tale studio si accosta un approfondito esame delle premesse concettuali alla base delle metodiche biotecnologiche attualmente impiegate in riproduzione e delle procedure applicate alla riproduzione assistita in ambito veterinario.
