1 .The First Level Philosophy Course has only one curriculum. Aim of the course is to give a basic although solid knowledge of the main historical lines of the philosophical and scientific thought, the different aspects of philosophical research and appropriate critical and methodological tools. In line with the Milano University School of Philosophy tradition, the concern for a rigorous historical-philosophical approach meets the interest in contemporary philosophy, with a major interest in moral, theoretical and epistemological topics.
2. Standing the acquisition of a good philosophical formation, the First Level Philosophy Course, because of its interdisciplinary approach, aims at offering to the students the possibility of pursuing their own line of study also in other humanistic and scientific departments.
The First Level Philosophy Course warrants the access to either the Second Level Philosophical Sciences Course or the Second Level Course preparing for teaching in secondary schools. Moreover, it provides the required competences for working in the domains of:
Communication
Cultural formation
Publishing houses and Editorial offices
Multi-medial cultural promotion
Organisation and planning in public and private Administration
