Informazioni sul programma
The course is organized in three parts of 20 hours each. The first part is taught by Marino Regini, the second one by Lorenzo Bordogna, and the third one by Roberto Pedersini.
This course will discuss the main trends and problems affecting the regulation of labour in a context of intensified economic internationalization. The main focus will be on European economies, but attention will be paid also to such countries as the US, Japan and Australia. The first part of the course will deal predominantly with macro-level regulation by the state and such labour institutions as trade unions, collective bargaining and tripartite concertation. The second part will assess the impact of labour regulation on economic performance, especially in the framework of the EU, and then will focus on the tertiary and public sector. The third part will introduce the basic concepts for the analysis of employment relations.
