Scholarships


Scholarships provided by the University

For the academic year 2010/2011, the University of Milan will award scholarships - worth € 4,668.00 each – to able and deserving students with financial difficulties on bachelor and master degree courses. The scholarships are intended to provide an incentive and improve university attendance.
The scholarships are allocated as follows:

• 120 scholarships for first year students, 10 of which are reserved for non-EU students (awarded according to merit and income, as shown by ISEE/ISEEU certification);
• 100 scholarships for second year students, 10 of which are reserved for non-EU students (awarded according to merit and income, as shown by ISEE/ISEEU certification);
• 70 scholarships for third year students, 10 of which are reserved for non-EU students (awarded according to merit and income, as shown by ISEE/ISEEU certification);
• 14 scholarships for fourth year students, 4 of which are reserved for non-EU students (awarded according to merit and income, as shown by ISEE/ISEEU certification);
• 14 scholarships for fifth year students, 4 of which are reserved for non-EU students (awarded according to merit and income, as shown by ISEE/ISEEU certification);
• 3 scholarships for sixth year students, 1 of which are reserved for non-EU students (awarded according to merit and income, as shown by ISEE/ISEEU certification);

Applications are to be submitted online, from mid-July until 30 September 2010, using the special electronic form. The requisites for participation in the competitive examination and the terms for the submission of applications will be shown on the relative competitive examination announcements (Italian text) issued and handled by the CIDiS .

Scholarships provided by the CIDiS

For the academic year 2010/2011, the CIDiS  will hold competitive examinations (Italian text) for scholarships for first year students (based on the income shown by ISEE/ISEEU certification) and for students enrolled in subsequent years (based on merit and the income shown by ISEE/ISEEU certification).

Applications are to be submitted online, from mid-July to 30 September 2010, registering and using the special electronic form (Italian text).

The requisites for participation in the competitive examination and the terms for the submission of applications will be shown on the relative competitive examination announcements.

Scholarships for disabled students

For the academic year 2010/2011, the University of Milan will hold a competitive examination  for 15 scholarships - each worth € 4,668.00 -  intended for first year students with disabilities.

Applications are to be submitted within 15 November 2010.

The  competitive examination announcement (Italian text) and the relative forms will also be available for consultation at the Ufficio Esoneri (Exemptions Office).
