On medical prescription, Podology graduates medicate verruca ulcerations of the foot and assist disease-carrying persons at risk, also for health education purposes. They identify and inform the doctor of any suspect pathological conditions which require a detailed diagnostic examination or therapeutic treatment.

Career and Employment

Graduates can pursue careers in podology services in hospitals or public, private accredited or private clinics in a freelance or employed capacity.
