Course Objectives

 The master degree programme in Clinical Allied Healthcare Professions Management is designed to prepare graduates to:

  • apply the basic scientific knowledge relating to their specific professional profile required to make decisions concerning the organisation and management of healthcare services provided by clinical healthcare personnel in the medical field, within healthcare facilities
  • employ the requisite health economics and business organisation competences to organise healthcare services and manage the human and technological resources available, evaluating the cost/benefit ratio
  • oversee specific sectors of the health organisation within the sphere of clinical healthcare
  • employ research methodologies and instruments in the organisation of healthcare services
  • oversee the optimisation of all resources (human, technological, educational and financial) employed in healthcare facilities
  • design and provide refresher and continuing training courses for the professional figures in question
  • develop teaching capacities relating to their specific professional profile through tutorials and the coordination of internships designed to provide basic, further and continuing training.

Career and Employment

Graduates in Clinical Allied Healthcare Professions Management can pursue careers in:
