Course Objectives

The course is designed to equip graduates with specialist knowledge and a sound command of innovative techniques in the field of plant, food and agro-environmental biotechnologies.

Career and Employment

Plant, Food and Environmental Biotechnology graduates can assume positions of high responsibility:

  • in the management of public and private laboratories, primarily of a biotechnological nature, in the agricultural, food and environmental sectors
  • in the depollution, conservation, protection and improvement of the environment and the coordination, also at a managerial and administrative level, of the development and monitoring of biotechnologies employed in these sector
  • in service and consultancy firms engaged in environmental protection and control, and the testing of food for human and zootechnical uses
  • in manufacturers of biotechnological equipment for agriculture, and within the sphere of international cooperation.
