Another prestigious recognition of University of Milan’s commitment to the internationalization of higher education comes from the US-Italy Fulbright Commission, which has chosen “La Statale” as one of the Italian venues for teaching positions in American Studies, the famous Fulbright Lectureships, for the academic years 2017-2020.
The main contacts for the Fulbright Lectureships program are the departments of International Legal, Historical and Political Studies, and the department of Foreign Languages and Literatures, where the American lecturer will teach and possibly carry out research work for Bachelor’s degree courses in International Relations and in European and extraeuropean Languages and Literatures and PhD programs in Political Studies.
The American lecturer will be an official member of the department as visiting professor and will share his experience and professionalism with Italian colleagues and students.
The Fulbright program, created in 1946 by Senator J. William Fulbright, has long been a prestigious international exchange program for students and teachers, aimed at promoting excellence and in-depth analysis of relations between the US and the rest of the world. Since its inception, it has forged deepening relations, not only in the academic field.
