Learning objectives
The main objective of the course is to illustrate the legislative frame of customs regulations (Union Customs Code), the import-export procedures and the role of the various players involved in the international supply-chain.
The course also aims at providing students with specific competencies regarding the role of Export Control Manager, professional figure managing several fields, as EU and International law, fiscal and customs legislation, prohibitions, restrictions and security related regulations.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student will be able to know the general regulatory framework, the institutes and the procedures applicable to the exchange of goods with foreign countries.
The constant reference to the real operational dynamics will allow to acquire practical knowledge immediately expendable in the professional field.
Cognitive elements related to various simplified institutes in customs matters and export issues will also be provided. Assessment methods and Criteria
The students will be asked to write and discuss a short paper in order to verify the student's ability to understand and to expose topics included in the course.
