Learning objectives
The aim of this course consists in:
- describing the morphology of cells and tissues related to their function, drawing the attention on the dynamic aspects of their interactions inside our body
- obtaining a basic knowledge on human anatomy from a functional point of view, particularly related to the study of macroscopic anatomy
- describing the normal and proper functioning of the various human organs and systems.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of this course the student should:
- know the macroscopic human anatomy of the following systems: skeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, urinary, endocrine, reproductive, Nervous Central System
- know the physiological bases of the above-mentioned systems
- be able to use the correct terminology in the morphological and functional description of the human body systems.
