Learning objectives
The course aims to provide the knowledge of nutrition, intended as a description of the different nutritional principles and the study of their use in the animal organism, and the knowledge of feeding, intended as the characterization of the different animal feeds, of the main nutritional needs of the animal species used in livestock production, and basic criteria for diet formulation and evaluation.
Expected learning outcomes
The student will acquire competences on nutrition and feeding of the main species for livestock production, and will acquire skills for diet formulation adapted to the needs of the professional activity in support to the livestock company, and also in preparation of the master's in-depth studies.
