Special English test session dedicated to soon-to-be graduates

The SLAM Centre has decided to organise a  special English test session dedicated to soon-to-be graduates next Autumn. The test is being held remotely via Zoom on the following day:

• 8th September 2021 at 10.00 a.m.

Students will have to meet the following terms and conditions:

• be enrolled in a degree course for an academic year managed by SLAM;
• be a soon-to-be graduate, i.e. no more than 2 exams left together with the English language assessment or the OFA+English language exam;
• not to have been banned from SLAM services, i.e. students who never sat the Placement Test at their first year, lapsed students/students who were not admitted to their end-of-course test, or students who used up all their 6 additional tries.

Interested students will have to meet these requirements, too:

• own a computer (not a tablet) and a smartphone;
• have a functioning internet connection;
• download the Zoom application both on your computer and on your smartphone;
• own a webcam and earphones;
• register through the InformaStudenti platform, "Language Tests" category, by 2nd September 2021 at 12 noon, attaching your colour scanned/photographed identification document (i.e., driving licence/ID card/passport, provided that it is currently valid). 

The message subject line MUST be the following:  “Iscrizione sessione straordinaria laureandi 8 settembre 2021”.

All registered students will be sent an email about two days before the test date with the ID to enter the Zoom meeting.

This code will have to be entered both on your computer and on your smartphone. Once you are in the meeting, your smartphone will have to be positioned so as the SLAM member of staff can control your test workstation via webcam.

You will use your computer to sit the test whereas your smartphone will be used as a control webcam exclusively.

Please note that the test can be sat only ONCE.
