Obiettivi formativi
The aim of the course of "Automatic feeding systems for cattle" is providing the students with the knowledge about the main automatic feeding systems for cattle.
Risultati apprendimento attesi
1. Knowledge and understanding: At the end of the course the student should know the basic principle of operation and the logic of automatic feeding systems for cattle.
2. Applying knowledge and understanding: the student will have to demonstrate that he/she possesses knowledge and skills useful to implement and manage an automatic feeding system for cattle.
3. Making judgments: the student must demonstrate the ability to critically present the information acquired. Technical visits to cattle farms using automatic feeding systems will be organised to highlight the differences and similarities between different technological solutions.
4. Communication: the student is expected to use scientifically appropriate language, in particular terminology relating to technical aspects of automatic feeding systems for cattle and their management. Technical visits are intended to stimulate the ability to acquire specific terminology and to discuss scientifically with peers.
5. Lifelong learning skills: the student must gain the ability to use acquired knowledge to interpret new scenarios arising from the adoption of automatic feeding systems for cattle.
