Obiettivi formativi
By the end of the Lab, students will:
- Understand the foundations of qualitative research, including the formulation of research questions, the logic of qualitative research design, and the role of theory in empirical inquiry.
- Acquire familiarity with key qualitative methods, including participant observation, in-depth interviews, and focus groups.
- Reflect critically on issues of transparency, validity, and triangulation in qualitative research.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively through group exercises and student presentations.

Prerequisiti
Il Lab è aperto a: studenti e studentesse del primo e secondo anno che hanno le basi dei metodi della ricerca qualitativa e quantitativa. Il Lab è raccomandato in particolare per gli studenti interessati a svolgere (o che stanno già svolgendo) una ricercar empirica con metodi qualitativi per la propria tesi.
Metodi didattici
Il laboratorio alterna lezioni frontali-interattive a esercitazioni pratiche attraverso le quali gli studenti applicheranno le tecniche di intervista. Il laboratorio includerà discussioni e analisi di casi studio pubblicati di ricerca qualitativa, permettendo agli studenti di esaminare criticamente come i metodi qualitativi vengono applicati nella pratica. Le lezioni si svolgeranno in aula e prevedono attività individuali e di gruppo, nonché presentazioni degli studenti.
