Obiettivi formativi
The course aims to provide the student with the main issues and technologies for the reuse and recycling of critical materials and management of waste. Industrial and lab scale approaches will be reviewed considering the type of materials, the composition and the possibility to their reuse or their valorization into other products. Purification techniques and synthetic approaches will be objectives of discussion considering pros and contra for the industrial application.
Risultati apprendimento attesi
To recognize a complexity of materials. To manage different approaches in order to control sustainability of recovery and valorisation of waste materials. To be able to differentiate a lab-scale from an industrial method for the utilisation of waste or exhaust materials. Chemical and physical characterization of complex mixtures and methods for their separation.
