Obiettivi formativi
Track 6 addresses s on the management of conditions that may be life-threatening, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of intensive care and critical care medicine. The course covers the organization and functioning of the intensive care unit (ICU), including patient triage, team coordination, and workflow optimization. Students will learn the methodology of life support, encompassing both invasive and non-invasive monitoring techniques, critical procedures, and therapeutic interventions. The track addresses the identification and management of complications, resuscitation strategies, and principles of end-of-life care.
In addition, ethical and medico-legal aspects of critical care will be explored, emphasizing informed decision-making, patient autonomy, and professional responsibility. By the end of the course, students are expected to integrate technical, clinical, ethical, and organizational knowledge to manage critically ill patients safely and effectively, while contributing to multidisciplinary care in high-stakes clinical environments.

After completing this track, students will have acquired a thorough understanding of the principles and practices involved in managing life-threatening conditions.
