Learning objectives
The course aims at providing the fundamentals for the study of one of the latest perspectives in literary criticism developed in the US academia, i.e. World Literature. The recent field of studies will be explored both in its theoretical issues, and in its possible applications to a comparative study of literature in which one of the terms of comparison is US literature.
