Learning objectives
The current researches are focused on the development of innovative and environmental safe biotechnology for insect control. The aim of the course is to provide the fundamental knowledge of some functional and molecular processes to understand the present investigations. The main topics of the course are the functional properties of insect organs and systems target of control strategies based on the alteration of body homeostasis.
Expected learning outcomes
Knowledge of insect physiology and biotechnology for the comprehension of current innovative researches.
