Learning objectives
Il corso costituisce un'introduzione ai dibattiti filosofici che riguardano (1) lo status scientifico, e (2) la dimensione morale e politica dell'economia. In particolare, esso mira a fornire conoscenza e capacità di comprensione delle principali critiche rivolte all'economia ortodossa (o neoclassica), e dei principali argomenti in sua difesa. Nel corso del programma saranno forniti gli strumenti concettuali per valutare criticamente le spiegazioni dei fenomeni economici fornite dagli economisti, per valutare i successi e i fallimenti predittivi delle teorie, e le implicazioni normative delle politiche economiche.
