Learning objectives
Knowledge and understanding: the course will give the basic principles of analytical geochemistry, of the most important analytical techniques for the Earth Sciences and the skill for contextualising them in a research context.
Expected learning outcomes
Applying knowledge and understanding: the course will give the tools necessary to apply the basic principles of analytical geochemistry to applied and basic science.
Making judgements: the course aims to give the skills for integrating the knowledge and make judgements on the basis of limited and incomplete information.
Communication skills: the course aims to increase the ability of the students to clearly communicate conclusions to specialist and not specialist persons.
Learning skills: the course will give the basic knowledge in analytical geochemistry and the skills to independently integrate it in the future.
