Learning objectives
The course is divided in 2 different sections: the history class and the legislation class.
The history course analyses the development and the evolution of the so called "modern sports", from the beginning of the nineteenth century up to now. The main goal is to underline the particular features of the European sports movement, focusing on its culture and institutions.
The legislation class aims at studying sport laws and regulations especially in regards of State role. The CONI organization is a public subject which takes care of sport in Italy, together with sports Federations. The class will examine the competence of these organizations and their autonomy.
Expected learning outcomes
The class aims at giving a full competence in historical and legislative evolution of sport and at representing the principal juridical tools useful for sport's operators.
