Learning objectives
The course provides an in-depth reflection on sport in its cultural dimension, values and motivation to practice. It has as objective the preparation of a professional figure in line with the needs of an ever-changing world of sport, attentive not only to the result, but also to a recovery of the dimension of values, educational and human sport. In line with the latest research in the field of sports psychology course in question aims to explore "mindfulness in sports". During the course, students also learn practical experience with the workings of the mind during sports practice and a meditation technique applied to ride called Mindful Running useful to stress management in performance. The course is in fact a part of practical experience in the field that introduces and develops the technique of mindfulness applied to the movement and aims to offer innovative research ideas and professional skills.
Expected learning outcomes
The course aims to provide skills and tools to assess and intervene in various contexts sports: from racing to leisure activity, developing motivation and knowing identify and protect the talent. Through a Mindfulness educational training applied to the race and called Mindful Running, it is intended to provide technical expertise in the sports world expendable even at the professional level.
