Learning objectives
L'obiettivo del corso sarà quello di fornire nozioni relativamente alla Tossicologia degli animali domestici attraverso una descrizione della Tossicologia generale e delle diverse classi di xenobiotici responsabili di tossicità nelle diverse specie animali. Contestualmente lo studente apprenderà, inoltre, le norme, nazionali e comunitarie che disciplinano l'allevamento e la produzione zootecnica, la sicurezza alimentare e la tutela ambientale, nozioni sull'ordinamento giuridico e fondamenti di diritto, per acquisire competenze in materia di responsabilità degli operatori del settore.

Introduction:Introduction to the law and to law instruments of interest to the Doctor of Animal Husbandry and Welfare degree (1 hour)
The sources of law; the rule of law and the legal system. Understanding Interpretation of law (one hour)
Introduction to the law and the functioning of the European system. Sources of Community law (1 hour)
The concept of contractual and tort liability; the damage caused by animals (1 hour)
The transaction and the sale. The enforcement actions; vices of the will and the object; issues related to the sale of animals (2 hours)
The judiciary: the judiciary and the civil penalty. Assistants and auxiliary of the court (1 hour)
The role of the expert in the judicial proceedings. The preparation of the expert opinion. The management extrajudicial litigation (1 hour)
The legal status of animals. The legal categories of membership of the animals (1 hour)
