Learning objectives
The course provides tools to design farm structures by taking into account both the functional needs (derived from productive specialisation) and the consequences on farm management of design choices.
Expected learning outcomes
The student will acquire the knowledge to design farm structures, in particular buildings for animal operations. The student will also acquire the knowledge about environmental needs of animals and about the criteria to define functional spaces for animals and for carrying out the operations needed.
