Human Resource analytics is a data-driven approach to managing people at work. HR analytics, also known as people analytics, workforce analytics, or talent analytics, revolves around analyzing people problems using data to answer critical questions about their organization.

This course will provide an overview of the elements of data analysis including techniques to undertake deep analysis of measurement outputs, identify inter-relationships, patterns and trends across metrics, link corporate and HR strategies through data and validate the causes of any emerging workforce issues. Students will also learn how best to present analytic findings.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course students will be able to identify the key human capital measures most applicable to organization's context and objectives. They will also able to determine a framework for linking HR and business strategies through data and utilize a range of data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns and variances in workforce data to support data-driven decision making. An other important objective will be to undertake deep analysis to identify causes for workforce risks and build influential evidence-based reports or business cases for recommended HR strategies and initiatives.
