Learning objectives
To provide the essential elements for understanding the structure of radiological images and their processing in the various fields of radiology (Computerized Tomography, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Interventional Radiology and Angiography).
Expected learning outcomes
The student will have to demonstrate to have understood the fundamental bases of the structure of radiological images, and their elaboration in the various fields of radiology (Computerized Tomography, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Interventional Radiology and Angiography).

Course syllabus
DICOM format: Structure and display of radiological images.
Image Processing in Computer Tomography.
Image Processing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
Image Processing in Angiography and Interventional Radiology.
Advanced Image Processing.
Prerequisites for admission
In order to adequately address the contents of the course, the student will have to fully understand the contents of the integrated courses of "Computed Tomography: Techniques", "Magnetic Resonance: Techniques" and " Neuroradiology and Interventional Radiology: Techniques".
Teaching methods
The course is divided into a series of lectures with slide shows in Power Point.
The lectures slides are uploaded to the Ariel website.

Assessment methods and Criteria
Test in itinere with relation in specific topic.
Final oral test.
Final vote: (PASSED/NOT PASSED).
