Learning objectives
The course provides an introduction to and theoretical-practical skills in personal training; it provides knowledge about the fitness market via direct contact with local wellness centers. The course provides skills in the essential aspects of personal training and case-history analysis of customer reception, advice and provision of technical and didactic guidance, control of services delivered, appropriate communication.
Expected learning outcomes
Students will acquire skills and knowledge in techniques and teaching of functional training in the weights gym and knowledge about small non-conventional equipment. Students will gain an understanding of the routine work of a professional trainer, customer needs analysis, and charts for programming training programs and registers for monitoring long-term objectives, customer loyalty; students will learn the essentials for working as a personal trainer: sales; customer service; personal business accounting; visibility (personal branding).
